Nashville, TN – The 40th Annual Stellar Gospel Music Awards was a night of celebration and historic moments, with Pastor Mike Jr. standing out as the evening's biggest winner, taking home an impressive nine awards.His monumental victories included a record-setting fourth win for Artist of the Year, cementing his place in gospel music history.

The ceremony, held at the historic Schermerhorn Symphony Center in Nashville, was a star-studded affair hosted by the legendary gospel duo BeBe & CeCe Winans. The event, themed "OUR MUSIC, OUR VOICE, OUR CULTURE," celebrated the rich heritage and vibrant future of gospel music.

Pastor Mike Jr.'s remarkable sweep was a testament to the power and reach of his music. He won in every category he was nominated in, a clean sweep that underscored his significant impact on the genre.

With this latest Artist of the Year award, he surpasses gospel icons Kirk Franklin and Marvin Sapp, who each have three wins in this prestigious category.

The Birmingham, Alabama native's accolades were largely driven by the success of his EP, "I Got Away EP," which won Album of the Year. His powerful anthem, "Amen," was also a major winner, securing Song of the Year.

In addition to these top honors, Pastor Mike Jr. also received awards for Male Artist of the Year, Contemporary Male Artist of the Year, and Urban Inspirational Single of the Year. The music video for "Amen" was recognized as the Music Video of the Year, and the track also won for Rap Hip Hop Song of the Year. Furthermore, his production team was honored with the Producer of the Year award. This impressive collection of awards brings his career total to 28 Stellar Awards.

The 40th Stellar Gospel Music Awards will be broadcast on the Stellar Network on Saturday, August 30th and on BET on Sunday, August 31st, allowing audiences nationwide to witness this historic night in gospel music.
