The gospel music collective Transformation Worship has won its first Stellar Gospel Music Award. The group's hit song "Overflow," which features celebrated artist Todd Dulaney, was named Praise and Worship Song of the Year at the 40th Annual Stellar Gospel Music Awards.

The award ceremony was a landmark event, held at the prestigious Schermerhorn Symphony Center in Nashville, Tennessee. This win marks a major achievement for the worship team, which originates from Transformation Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma, under the leadership of Pastor Mike Todd. The song "Overflow" gained significant viral attention following its debut at the 2022 V02 Conference and has since become a powerful anthem in the worship community. The award was given to Transformation Worship, along with Todd Dulaney and their record labels, Represent Records and Re:Think Music.

The 40th anniversary of the Stellar Awards, themed "Our Music, Our Voice, Our Culture," was hosted by the legendary gospel duo BeBe & CeCe Winans. In addition to their win, Transformation Worship also delivered a memorable performance during the event.

The night was filled with celebration for many artists. Pastor Mike Jr. was the top winner, taking home nine awards, including Artist of the Year. Other notable winners with multiple awards included CeCe Winans, The Group Fire, Ricky Dillard, and Dorinda Clark-Cole.

For those who wish to see the ceremony, the 40th Annual Stellar Gospel Music Awards is scheduled to premiere on the Stellar Network on Saturday, August 30th, and will be broadcast on BET on Sunday, August 31st.
